Tropical Piña Colada Green Smoothie


Aside from being my favorite smoothie of all time, this recipe has been a huge hit with my friends and family as well. It is especially yummy to drink during summer because it tastes like a Piña Colada, with the added benefits of it being a green smoothie!! If you have never had any kind of green smoothie before, this is the perfect smoothie to get you transitioned because you can't taste the green AT ALL!

1/4 frozen banana
1 cup or large handful of fresh baby spinach
1/2 cup fresh or frozen pineapple chunks
1/2 cup unsweetened coconut milk
1/2 Tbsp unsweetened coconut flakes
1/2 scoop vanilla or coconut protein powder
1 cup of ice

Add in spinach, banana, pineapple, coconut milk, protein powder, and half of your coconut flakes
Add the cup of ice then blend again until smooth
Top with remaining coconut flakes
Find a warm sunny spot to enjoy!
