The Perfect Acai Bowl
If you have been dreaming about an acai bowl but have not yet tried one yet, now is your chance to make one at home. The reason acai has gained such hype during the past couple of years is because it is extremely high in antioxidants and is usually mixed with other superfoods like chia seeds, cacao nibs, goji berries, and more. If you don't have a juice place near you that serves bowls, it is really simple to make one at home.
2 Packets of frozen acai (I use Sambazon Acai Pure Unsweetened)
1 Frozen Banana
1/4 cup 100% apple juice
Blend then pour into container or bowl; should be smooth but still thick.
Add any toppings you want! I love granola, chia seeds, cacao nibs, dates, peanut butter, and any fruit! You can get creative with whatever you like!
